Mark Cuban Doesn’t Know What He’s Talking About

Are we still in Podcasting 1.0? Of course not. But if you’re billionaire investor Mark Cuban, who is trying to sell everyone on his newest business venture, you might just be misinformed enough to say such a thing on the Podcast Movement stage.

On this episode of the Q’d Up Podcast on Podcasting, John and Matt take a deep dive into Mark Cuban’s comments at the Podcast Movement conference and how Fireside may (but likely won’t) revolutionize podcasting.

The guys also discuss Megaphone’s newest audience insights tool, some of the latest podcast charts, and how podcasting is slowly taking over AM/FM radio stations. Matt and John end with Metallica entering the podcast game, their favorite Metallica songs and how Teddy Ruxpin is somehow involved.
